T3, Italy, June 2008: Overall rating: 4/5.
The XPS M1530 is really different. Outside it is sexy and full of light, and underneath the red cover, it is even more surprising: the fastest Intel processor, and powerful nVidia graphics card. The HDMI port allows you to connect the notebook to an HDTV if you think 15.4-inches is not enough. The notebook is a little heavy at 3kg, but has 2GB RAM, a 320GB hard disk, an optical drive, and all the optional ports you need. Battery life is three hours, which isn’t bad considering the notebook’s dimensions. It’s really a bargain if you consider the price, and if you choose the (RED) version, part of what you spend goes towards an African project against AIDS.
